Mochudi, and why it is on this site
Mochudi is the Bakgatla capital, about 40 kilometres north-east of Gaborone on the road towards the Sikwane border post. The Phuthadikobo Museum on the hill above the village is the reason most visitors come.
It is close enough to Gaborone to work as a quieter alternative to a city hotel, and far enough out that you need a vehicle.
Who it suits
- Visitors to Mochudi and the Phuthadikobo Museum.
- Travellers who want to be out of Gaborone but near it.
- Working stays in the Kgatleng district.
