Corrections and factual errors
If something on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Include the page address and, if you can, the sentence that is inaccurate, together with where your information comes from — a gate receipt, an official notice, or simply the date you were there. Reports of this kind are one of our most useful sources, because official pages on Botswana are often slower to change than the ground is. Our corrections policy sets out what happens to a report and how a fix is disclosed.
Road, gate and closure reports
These are the reports we most want. Botswana’s tracks, bridges and park gates change faster than any published guide, as the 2026 Moremi flooding showed, and first-hand accounts routinely reach us before an authority updates its own page. If you have driven a route recently — whether it was open, closed, easy or ugly — and can tell us when, that is genuinely valuable. We will attribute it as a reader report and date it, and we will still tell readers to confirm with the Department of Wildlife and National Parks before travelling.
Accommodation and property listings
If you own or manage a property we list and something is out of date — the name, the website, what you offer, or the fact that you have closed or changed hands — write to us and we will update it. There is no charge for this and nothing is required in return.
We choose what to list and what to recommend independently. A business cannot buy a listing, a position, or a favourable description, and correcting an error will never depend on anything else. We publish no rates, availability, star ratings or review scores of our own; see our accommodation section and our affiliate disclosure.
Media, business and partnership enquiries
Use the same address. We are glad to hear from accommodation providers, safari and activity operators, charter airlines, vehicle-hire companies and tourism organisations, particularly where one of our guides would be genuinely useful to your guests or customers.
Reader questions
We are a small independent site rather than a travel agency, so we cannot make bookings, amend or cancel them, or plan individual trips. We do read everything, and questions that reveal a gap in a guide often end up improving it.
