Kgatleng, and why it is on this site
The Kgatleng villages north-east of Gaborone — Oodi, Modipane, Mochudi, Rasesa — sit between the capital and the Sikwane border post, and almost none of their accommodation appears on international booking channels.
Oodi is also where the weavers’ co-operative is, which makes it one of the few villages in the district with a reason to stop beyond a bed.
Who it suits
- Visitors to the Oodi weavers and the Kgatleng district.
- Groups needing several rooms outside the capital.
- Working stays north-east of Gaborone.
