Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge is built onto the ledges of the Ghoha Hills, looking down over the Savuti plains inside Chobe National Park. Height is what distinguishes it: most Savuti camps sit on the flat, and this one gives you the marsh as a landscape rather than a horizon.

Location and access
Savuti has its own airstrip and is normally reached by light aircraft. The sand routes in are demanding and are not a casual self-drive.
Elevation changes what you can see coming
On the Savuti flats you find animals by driving to them. From a ledge you watch the plain and see movement a kilometre out — a herd crossing, dust from a chase. It turns time in camp into part of the game viewing rather than the gap between drives.
Savuti is predator country and it is not gentle
The Savuti Channel has stopped and restarted repeatedly with no reliable pattern, and the marsh changes character with it. What has stayed constant is the density of lion, hyena and, in the migration months, the prey that draws them. Come for that rather than for scenery.
