Kgatleng, and why it is on this site
The Kgatleng villages north-east of Gaborone — Modipane, Mochudi, Rasesa, Oodi — sit between the capital and the Sikwane border post, and almost none of their accommodation appears on international booking channels.
They are close enough to the capital to work as quieter alternatives, and the Phuthadikobo Museum at Mochudi is the one genuinely touristic thing in the district.
Who it suits
- Travellers who want a village bed close to Gaborone.
- Anyone visiting Mochudi and the Kgatleng district.
- Working stays outside the capital.
