R and H Guesthouse is a five-room bed and breakfast on Plot 432 at Newstance, Kazungula. It is registered with Botswana Tourism as an operating bed and breakfast. Kazungula sits where Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia meet, and the road bridge over the Zambezi has made it a working border town rather than a village. Staying here rather than in Kasane makes sense mainly when the crossing is the reason for the trip.

We list no facilities here. The official register records the licence class and address but not the facility detail, and no other verifiable source was available, so anything more would be guesswork.
Location and access
Plot 432, Newstance, Kazungula, Chobe District, close to the Kazungula bridge and border post and about 12 km from Kasane.
Kasane beyond the riverfront lodges
Most of what gets written about Kasane is about the river. That is the reason to come, but it is not the whole of the town.
Kasane and neighbouring Kazungula are also a working border town, and the small guesthouses on the plateau and at Kazungula serve it. Several appear only on the national tourism register. If your days are spent in the park or on a boat, the view from your bed matters less than the price of it.
Who it suits
- Travellers crossing the Kazungula bridge into Zambia
- Drivers heading for Victoria Falls or the Zimbabwe border
- Transport and freight crews using the crossing
- Visitors who want to be near Chobe without staying in Kasane
