Ten contemporary suites and two family rooms, taking roughly twenty-four guests. Each has an elevated private viewing deck, a lounge area and an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers. Power is 100 per cent solar with generator backup.

An open-plan dining, lounge and bar looking over the waterhole, a swimming pool, a safari shop, and the Splash Enclave — a private exclusive-use area for parties of six to ten with its own lounge, bar, dining, fire pit and plunge pool.

Location and access
Fly-in by light aircraft to the Kwara airstrip, about 45 minutes drive from camp. Roughly 30 minutes flying from Maun and 80 minutes from Kasane. Helicopter transfers are available.

A waterhole camp behaves differently from a river camp
On the Delta channels, game comes and goes with the flood. At a permanent waterhole in dry country, the animals come to you on a schedule you can watch from a chair. Between roughly August and November that turns the camp itself into a hide, which is the strongest single argument for booking a waterhole camp over a water-frontage one.
The Enclave solves a real problem
Groups of eight travelling together usually end up either splitting across vehicles in a public camp or paying for a whole small camp. An exclusive-use enclave inside a larger camp is the middle option, and it is rarer in Botswana than it should be. If you are six to ten people, ask about it before you price whole-camp buyouts.
