Jwaneng is a mining town in southern Botswana, built around one of the world’s richest diamond mines, and it sits on the A2 between Gaborone and the Kalahari. For travellers the town is mainly a waypoint: it is the last substantial stop before the long run west through Kang toward Ghanzi and the Namibian border.
