Kamore Inn is a seven-room guest house at Gumare, the largest village on the road up the western side of the Okavango towards Etsha, Sepupa and Shakawe. It joins Gumare Executive Inn as one of the few beds on a long stretch of road.

The western Okavango road
The road that runs up the western side of the Okavango from Maun through Gumare, Etsha and Sepupa to Shakawe is one of the emptier main roads in Botswana. There are villages, a few guesthouses and very little else.
For anyone driving to the panhandle rather than flying into the Delta, knowing where the beds are on this road is more useful than another lodge listing.
