The national register records Amogelang Guesthouse as a guest house with 4 rooms, at Kasane. 4 rooms is the commonest size in Kasane, across the 7 establishments on the register. The town is the Chobe gateway on the river. Guest house registration means rooms by the night; at 4 rooms there is no restaurant behind it.

No facility list is published here: the register carries the licence and the room count, and nothing further that we can stand behind.
Location and access
At Kasane, in Kasane. The Sedudu gate into Chobe National Park is a short drive from the town. The national register records the ward but not a street address, and we do not invent one.
Kasane beyond the riverfront lodges
Most of what gets written about Kasane is about the river. That is the reason to come, but it is not the whole of the town.
Kasane and neighbouring Kazungula are also a working border town, and the small guesthouses on the plateau and at Kazungula serve it. Several appear only on the national tourism register. If your days are spent in the park or on a boat, the view from your bed matters less than the price of it.
Who it suits
- Self-drive travellers using Kasane as the Chobe gateway
- Visitors crossing to Victoria Falls or Kazungula
- Contract and project staff needing a room for several nights
- Travellers who want to know a place is licensed before they arrive
