Okuti sits on the Maunachira River in the heart of Moremi Game Reserve. Two things make it unusual: it is built with raised wooden walkways throughout and is wheelchair accessible, which almost no Delta camp is; and it welcomes self-drive guests arriving in their own 4×4, which almost no fly-in camp does.

A fly-in camp that takes self-drivers is genuinely rare
Most Delta camps quietly do not want a dusty Hilux in the car park. Okuti does, which solves a real problem: self-drive trips through Moremi are hard on people, and one night in a bed with a shower in the middle of a two-week camping route changes the whole trip. Book it as the midpoint, not the start.
Accessibility in the Delta, stated plainly
Raised boardwalks are usually the thing that makes a Delta camp impossible for a wheelchair user. Okuti has built them level and says so. If mobility is a factor for anyone in your party, this is one of very few camps inside a Botswana reserve worth asking directly about.
