Tlouwana Guesthouse is a nine-room guest house on Lot 1015 at Lesoma, a village in the Chobe District south-east of Kasane. It is registered with Botswana Tourism as an operating guest house. Lesoma sits in the valley where the road from Kasane climbs away towards Pandamatenga and the Zimbabwe border, and elephants move through the area regularly enough that it is known for it.

We list no facilities here. The official register records the licence class and address but not the facility detail, and no other verifiable source was available, so anything more would be guesswork.
Location and access
Lot 1015, Lesoma, Chobe District, south-east of Kasane on the road towards Pandamatenga and the Zimbabwe border.
Kasane beyond the riverfront lodges
Most of what gets written about Kasane is about the river. That is the reason to come, but it is not the whole of the town.
Kasane and neighbouring Kazungula are also a working border town, and the small guesthouses on the plateau and at Kazungula serve it. Several appear only on the national tourism register. If your days are spent in the park or on a boat, the view from your bed matters less than the price of it.
Who it suits
- Travellers who want the Chobe area without staying in Kasane
- Drivers heading south to Pandamatenga and Nata
- Visitors crossing at Kazungula or Pandamatenga
- Anyone interested in the elephant movement through the Lesoma valley
