Travelodge Kasane is a town hotel up on the Plateau near Kasane Airport. It is not a riverfront safari property and does not present itself as one: it is the practical, secure, well-run place to sleep when what you actually need is a bed, a car park and a short run to the airport or the border.

Rooms

Botswana Tourism records 66 rooms and 129 beds, classed as a fully serviced hotel. Air conditioning and satellite television throughout, with a 24-hour front desk and room service from 07:00 to 21:00.

Facilities at Travelodge Kasane

A swimming pool and outdoor entertainment area, a restaurant and bar, a gymnasium, conference facilities, free Wi-Fi and free parking on a gated plot. Boat cruises and game drives are arranged, and the hotel runs airport transfers.

Who it suits

Travelodge Kasane suits travellers in transit — between the Delta and Victoria Falls, or waiting on a border crossing — and business travellers, who are a large part of Kasane’s year-round trade.

Location and access

Tar throughout, on a gated urban plot roughly eight minutes from Kasane Airport, with ample secure parking. No 4×4 required.

How we checked this listing

Room counts, classification and facilities come from the hotel’s own website and the Botswana Tourism Organisation register. We have not stayed here.

On the Plateau, not on the river

Some listings for Travelodge Kasane imply a river outlook. The Botswana Tourism address — Plateau Road, up above the town — does not support that, and we would rather say so than let a photograph do the implying. Treat this as a town hotel with a pool, because that is what it is.

That is not a criticism. Kasane has plenty of riverfront and a shortage of straightforward, secure, well-located places to spend a night that is really about logistics. If your day involves a border post, a hire car handover or an early flight, being on the Plateau near the airport is worth more than a view.

Kasane is a crossroads before it is a destination

Three international borders sit within an hour of here, and a great deal of Kasane’s traffic is people moving between Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia rather than people on safari. Our entry requirements guide covers what the crossings ask for.

For that kind of night Travelodge Kasane is a good answer, and the conference facilities tell you who else is using it. If you have come for elephant, book a riverfront property and use this one for the transit night.

Who Travelodge Kasane suits

  • Travellers in transit to or from Victoria Falls, Livingstone or the Caprivi.
  • Self-drivers who want a gated plot with secure parking rather than an open lodge car park.
  • Business and conference travellers, for whom the location and the facilities matter more than the setting.

It suits you less if you have come to Kasane for the river. You will be driving to it.

Booking this property

The hotel publishes a property-specific booking link on its own site, but that booking host sits behind an automated security challenge that we could not pass, so we have not been able to confirm where the link lands. Rather than publish a button we have not tested, we have left it off. Book through the hotel’s own site, linked below.

Book or compare

The availability button on this page opens Travelodge Kasane through our booking partner. We click-tested it on 30 August 2026 and it resolves to this property.

We publish no rate here. Prices move with season, occupancy and cancellation terms, and a figure copied once is a figure that goes stale.

Botswana Travel Guide may earn a commission when you book through selected links, at no additional cost to you. It does not change what we list or what we say about it.

What we publish, and what we do not

We publish no rates, no availability, no star ratings and no review scores of our own. We do not publish booking links we have not tested.

If anything here is out of date, tell us through our contact page and we will check it against the source and correct it.
