Lala Panzi is a small guesthouse on Plot 147 in Ghanzi. It is one of the plainest entries in this part of the catalogue and we list it for the same reason we list the rest: a national directory that only carries lodges is not a directory of where people actually sleep.

Small properties on the Trans-Kalahari route
Ghanzi is a working farming town rather than a safari destination, and most of its accommodation exists because people need to sleep somewhere between Namibia and Maun. The small guesthouses and self-catering plots here are plain, and they are priced accordingly.
That is worth knowing before you book. If you want game drives and a lodge atmosphere you want one of the game farms outside town; if you want a clean bed, secure parking and an early start, a town plot does the job better and for less.
Who it suits
- Travellers wanting a simple, no-frills bed in Ghanzi town.
- Anyone eating out and leaving early.
- Solo travellers and small parties on the corridor.
