Where River View Lodge sits

River View Lodge is a private lodge on the banks of the Chobe River at Kasane, in the far north-east of Botswana. It sits directly on the river, within reach of Chobe National Park, the Kazungula crossing and the approaches to Victoria Falls.

A family-run lodge

The lodge is family-run and describes service as its priority. That is the practical difference from the larger riverfront hotels in Kasane: it is small enough that the owners are present.

Day trips to Victoria Falls are run from the lodge. Kasane sits close to both the Zimbabwean and Zambian sides, and the Falls are a straightforward addition to a Chobe stay.
