Tuludi takes fourteen guests in seven tents spread through a leadwood grove in the Khwai Private Reserve, linked by elevated boardwalks. It is the small, spacious end of the Khwai portfolio: every tent has its own plunge pool, and the camp has a treehouse library four metres up.

Tents at Tuludi
Seven tents — six twin or double and one family unit — taking roughly fourteen guests. Each has a private plunge pool. Power is 100 per cent solar, with Wi-Fi, hairdryers and charging points.
Facilities at Tuludi
A camp swimming pool as well as the private ones, a treehouse library, an open-fronted gym, wellness and spa treatments, and outdoor dining.
Who it suits
Travellers who want space and privacy over camp sociability, and couples. Children are accepted from six years.
Location and access
Fly-in by light aircraft from Maun or Kasane to a private airstrip, then a game drive to camp.
Fourteen guests on 200,000 hectares
The Khwai Private Reserve is shared between a handful of camps rather than one, so the concession is not exclusively Tuludi’s. What the low bed count does buy is the camp experience: two or three vehicles rather than six, meals that do not need a seating plan, and guides who know what you personally have already seen.
Private plunge pools change the middle of the day
Between roughly October and December the Delta gets genuinely hot, and the hours between drives are long. A plunge pool on your own deck is the difference between waiting out the afternoon and enjoying it. In a cooler month it matters much less, so weigh it against what else the camp offers.
