Serowe, and why it is on this site
Serowe is one of the largest villages in Botswana and the seat of the Bangwato, with the Khama III Memorial Museum and the royal cemetery on Thathaganyana hill. It is also the nearest town to the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, which is the main reason travellers stay here.
